Everyone Does Evil
According to the Bible, nobody does good perfectly.
May you please accept all humans do evil?
The Bible calls me useless.
I do evil, I'm always sinning.
Humans won't stop sinning until death.
- Everyone's turned away; all have become useless. Nobody does good, not even one. (Psalm 53:3)
- Nobody on earth's always good and never sins. (Ecclesiastes 7:20)
- For everyone's sinned and falls short of God's glory. (Romans 3:23)
Everyone sins.
I hide from helpful truth.
My evil makes me afraid of being exposed.
- Surely I was born a sinner, from the moment my mother conceived me. (Psalm 51:5)
- No one's truly wise, nobody seeks God. (Romans 3:11)
- Everyone that does evil hates the light and refuses to go near it, fearing their actions will be exposed. (John 3:20)
Exposing and confessing sins aren't required for Heaven.
Please accept all humans are sinners.
Only trust Jesus died (paying your sin penalty), got buried, and was risen to become saved.
- I received and delivered what's most important to you: Christ died for our sins, as the Scriptures said; that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the Scriptures: (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
- At just the right time, when we were still helpless, Christ died for the ungodly. (Romans 5:6)
- But we believe through the undeserved grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we'll be saved, just as they are. (Acts 15:11)
There's only one step to be saved:
Trust Jesus Christ died (paying your sin penalty), got buried, and was risen.
